Folsom Wrestling had one wrestler competing in Nationals in Iowa, this weekend, Junior, Angelo Martinoni. He placed 5th in the country at the USA Wrestling Folkstyle Junior Nationals, adding his name to Folsom High’s string of All Americans in the past decade. Cal Baptist, sophomore Nick Fiegener (Folsom Class of 2015) wrestled in the Division 2 Nationals on Friday and Saturday. Nick won all of his early matches and advanced to the Finals on Saturday. Nick was defeated, however, so he took second place in the 184 weight class. Congratulations Nick! #2 in the Nation!!! Way to go!
Folsom Alumni Wrestler, Lorenzo De La Riva (class of 2015) will represent Cal State Bakersfield in the Division 1 Wrestling Championships on March 16-18 at Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
