Hutton was a three-year varsity player at Folsom High who scored 35 touchdowns in 44 varsity games. He gained 3,178 all-purpose yards in those games, 2,130 through the air on 119 catches and 25 touchdowns.
“It’s incredible to hear how complimentary coaches are when they talk about CJ,” Doherty said. “The first thing we do at the all-league meetings is vote for Player of the Year and you can’t vote for your own player. Every coach in the SFL voted for CJ; he was a unanimous selection. I think that says a lot about CJ.”
