Also, competing this weekend was our sophomore female wrestler, Desinee Lopez. The girl’s matches are a week ahead of the boys, so Desinee qualified last week at Northern Regionals to advance to the girls Masters meet this weekend. On Friday, she was very successful and advanced to the semifinals today. Desinee lost her semifinals match and then had one more chance to compete in inorder to be one of the top 5 female wrestlers to advance to the State Championships next weekend in Visalia. Desinee won her next match and finished in 4th place at the Masters. She also clinched a spot at the State Championships!

Good Luck at State Championships Desinee!!!!! Folsom is so PROUD of you!
