General Board Meeting
January 9, 2017
Meeting began: 6:30 PM
Location: Folsom High School
Members present: Jill Hess, Michelle Wiese, Jennifer Torres, Tammy Simmons, Debra Meyers, Nicole Spotswood, Anita Hayes, Doug Quiroz, Janet Sutter, Lourdes Moore, Celeste Petersen
Approval of minutes:
Motion to approve Minutes, motioned by Michelle Wiese, seconded by Doug Quiroz, motion carried.
Discussed upcoming fundraisers – be sure to send them to Lourdes to be put on the website.
Anita and Jennifer continue to work with the bank on getting our accounts setup under their new structure. Jennifer still doesn’t have online access but thinks she’ll have it next week.
Checks can still be signed as usual until this process is complete – we have up to 6 months to get our accounts updated with the new required information.
Parking lot and Fireworks money still hasn’t been transferred due to Jennifer not having access yet. If anyone has any questions about this, please email Jennifer.
Jennifer will call our CPA and ask about what is needed for the Taxes for 2016 and if we can use Quicken instead of Quickbooks due to cost.
Budgets due for all programs– email to Anita, still needed are: Softball, Boys’ and girls’ Tennis, Boys’ Soccer, Boys Basketball, Wrestling, Track
Still need a Booster President, Please solicit your parents. Bulldog Bulletin will have another request this week.
Certification of records should be completed (please see attached document to the minutes email, bring this filled out to our February meeting.) – still need: Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Softball, Boys Soccer, Tennis, Wrestling
Debra has checked and re-checked all the emails on her distribution list and they are correct as reps have stated in the meetings. Please ensure your spam filters receive emails from firstname.lastname@example.org (thank you!)
Athletic Director’s Report: (Lisa)
None – Lisa was unable to attend.
No update – Jennifer has no access.
Basketball has a new scoreboard! This has ad-rotation capability. The ad cost is $500 per season (regular season and playoffs). Banners which hang on the wall cost $550. If you wish to purchase an ad, see Doug Quiroz
